We seek a passionate and creative Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and managing Social Media posts on all platforms, assist in managing our online presence, and engage with our community through various social media platforms. We will train the right candidate! This position is not a remote position.  The candidates must be available to take videos and pictures of events locally in Houston.

Position/Duties: 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in the creation and management of our online presence and engage with our community through various social media platforms.  This position will also provide reporting and analysis of the
  • Social Media Management and Reporting: Monitor and report on social media activity and engagement metrics, contributing to 20% of the role's focus.
  • Daily Posting: Craft and publish one engaging social media post every day across all our platforms, accounting for 10% of job responsibilities.
  • Content Creation: Take videos and photos for travel-related content at least once a week, which will be a key part of our digital storytelling, representing 20% of the workload.
  • Storytelling: Develop and share 2-3 stories per week on Instagram and Facebook to connect with our audience, making up another 20% of the role.
  • Video Reels: Create one reel weekly for Facebook to showcase our latest innovations, projects, or behind-the-scenes, constituting 10% of the job tasks.
  • Engagement: Proactively engage with ideal prospects and clients, responding to posts and interacting across all platforms on a daily basis, dedicating 20% of your time.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Facebook.
  • Excellent storytelling, photography, and video creation skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with a variety of audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
